🍒 Our Story
The story of Cherry Tree Café began long before its doors opened.
When we first got married, my husband was serving in the army, and one of his first postings took us to the northern areas of Pakistan. It was there, surrounded by breathtaking mountains, peaceful valleys, and the quiet beauty of nature, that we instantly fell in love with this part of the world.
Over the years, even after having our three boys, we continued visiting the northern areas whenever we could. With every trip, our love for the mountains grew stronger, and so did a dream we held close to our hearts: to one day open a small, cozy café in the mountains and settle there permanently.
That dream finally came true in 2020, when Cherry Tree Café opened its doors in Gilgit. Since then, we have made Gilgit our home and embraced the beautiful way of life here.
Today, Cherry Tree Café has become one of Gilgit’s most loved cozy and chic spots, welcoming visitors from all around the world. From the very beginning, our aim has been to create a place that feels warm, homely, and full of character.
Every wall, every corner, and every little detail inside the café has a story of its own. Many pieces have been collected during our travels around the world, while others have been gifted by close relatives and friends as souvenirs. Together, they bring memories, love, and stories from different places into one special space.
We hope that when you visit Cherry Tree Café, you feel the warmth, comfort, and love that went into creating it and that you fall in love with it just as much as we and our children do every single day.
